Sunday marked Lydia’s & Rohan’s bi-monthly potluck which is held at their house that all of our family and friends come to get their grub on. EVERYONE stuffed their faces with all the food and we all had meat sweats & sugar shakes for the entire night. My favourite item of food this time around was Lydia’s chilli that was unreal…sweet corn, spicy, meaty, & soo GOOD! After comatosing from eating for three hour straight…we played some DJ Hero that Justin brought. He was showing off his skills that Hanson (hfourtysixit) filmed without him knowing… FUNNY ASS SHIT! Can not wait till the next one!

On Saturday I decided to bring my buddy along with me all day…my Canon 50D! I wanted to make it a habit once again to bring my camera along with me anywhere I go just incase that certain photo arrises in my head that I can shoot at an instant. My day consisted of me working at Foosh, eating, visiting Bamboo Ballroom, chilling with friends, eating, and a poker game… Enjoy the photos!

The shops infamous boxing day arrived yesterday…AND IT WAS MADNESS! The Foosh staff started the day right at 7:30am and ended at 6pm. Our line up was from our entrance to all the way passed Bubbles Car Wash. Everyone was super stoked on the sale once again, especially with another area for the shoes to free up some room in Foosh. Both sides were busy all day…and FINALLY 6pm rolled around to get our eats & drinks on at The Common. Foosh & Bamboo Ballroom held their after party at The Common with Spilt Milk, Allout DJ’s, Dane Gretzky, & DJ Sterobait on the 1’s & 2’s. The night was full of old faces visiting the city for the holidays and new faces joining the party. GREAT day & GREAT night as always. Are you ready for December 26th?…Cause we are getting ready for it!

Foosh is having their Infamous Boxing Day Sale on December 26th. The madness starts at 9am at BOTH shops…yes you heard right…we have our normal location and the spot right next to us. Basically the Foosh store will have all the clothes and then next door we will have all of our shoes. Two different lines…Two different shops…ONE decision to either go for the clothes or shoes…it’s all YOUR choice! Here is the break down…

The 3rd Annual D.I.Y. Munny show with Grant Mceawan and Foosh happened last night at the shop. There we 30+ custom Munny’s at the show that the design & art students created. Such a wide verity of ideas from Alien vs Predator, Calvin & Hobbs, Kurt Cobain, Gizmo, Oscar the Grouch, and many created identities. Each one was sold in the silent action which some were bought for the store. If you missed out there will be a future Nike AF1 custom show to be coming during Spring 2010 sometime with Grant Maceawan students… BUT for now enjoy the photos I took of the night.

The 3rd Annual Foosh/MacEwan Design Students art showcase is here once again! On December 10th 2009, from 7:30-10 pm, we will be exhibiting custom DIY Munnys designed by 40+ students. All Munnys will be available for sale through silent auction. There will be a live DJ, bar, and snacks to munch on while you peruse. Be sure to come by and see some amazing DIYs and maybe take one home with you! Come support your local artists in Edmonton!
