The Chicago Sister

This past Friday was the first performance that Kid Sister has done in the city & it was one to remember. GOOD times with GOOD people with GOOD music… what more can you ask for? Beside some hick ups from the not named FIRE MARSHALS everyone had fun partying it down all night long. Of course the miss & myself had a blast dancing it up on the dance floor that was FLOODED with ladies… to you guys that missed out, why? haha. Even Mariel dolled up her nails for the night just because of “Pro Nails”. Here is are some shots I took with a Canon G10 that I borrowed from Justin. Enjoy!

Another Year

Yesss another year has passed in my life BUT I am very grateful for everything that has happened to me… I got into school for my passion of Photography, I went back to the Philippines with my family, hangout with my friends on various occasions that were memorable, and most importantly meeting my favourite lady in the world. Though my 21st year was awesome, I KNOW that there will be bigger & better things in the future too. Celebrating my birthday with my family & friends at a park to enjoy the day with food, drinks, and cupcakes is always ideal. I am gratefull to be surrounded by great people in my life and they were all there this Sunday celebrating my birthday. Good times were had all around!

Soo again next year?

SOSFest

The newests festival to hit Edmonton’s already steady flow of festivals in the summertime is the Sounds of Old Strathcona Music Festival. I didn’t even know about it until yesterday on their last day of the festival. They actually closed down 103rd - 105th Street on Whyte Ave for vendors to sell their merchandise and for two stages where local bands performed. The Foosh & Bamboo Ballroom family, friends, and myself watched Shout Out Out Out perform on the 103rd Street. It was packed, full of energy, good vibes, & everyone enjoy good music on the streets of Whyte Ave. I can see this festival grow bigger and bigger throughout the years… hopefully more acts & maybe DJ sets? Only time will tell!

Beach Bound

With being away from the beach for way too long, the miss & me decided to go to Pigeon Lake on our next days off together. Thankfully that day came by fast and yesterday we headed off to the lake to relax in the heat and cool down in the water. It was perfect way to spend a day off during summer in Edmonton… I do sugest if your in the city to go out on day trips to escape the city life.
