Once again the Bridgestone contest is here. Three students from either first or second year will win CASH for 1st $1500, 2nd $1000, & 3rd $500 place. For the second years its part of our commercial class mark and once again I did it LAST minute. This year I wanted to hit the Christmas aspect instead of the other subjects I could of done. I basically imposed that “Santa” even switched over to Bridgestone tires instead of using his own reindeer. I am pretty happy with the end result… though its pretty cheesy, this is what they want. In first semester for one of my Critic’s we shot for Bridgestone’s yearly contest. If you guys forgot what I shot, just click HERE to see my rendition for the contest. I found out yesterday that I got 3rd overall in NAIT Photographic Technology and now I’m on their website AND I got $500 to my name…super stoked! Check out the winners of 2009 HERE.

This weeks Critic for school was for Bridgestones Photography Contest which is held every year. This contest is a nation wide critic that all post-secondary schools are involved with a photography program. We had to take a photograph with a tire, logo, or a symbol that is towards Bridgestone. They also gave use three topics to depict in our photographs such as Community, Safety, and Environment. I chose to do environment and decided to have a tire to have a grass trail to show Bridgestone Tires recycle their tires to make new ones. Leave some comments of what you think of the photo!
