
Today I wanted to cook my family a really simple pasta dish with a really simple salad to compliment the main dish. I remember a friend showing me this simple tomato, onion, and butter sauce which I wanted to recreate and knew how rich in flavour it was. The salad I chose to do was an arugula salad with radish and a olive oil, lemon, & dijon vinaigrette. This was perfect for the peppery tones the arugula has to stand with the pasta sauce. I was really happy with my results for doing this sauce for the first time. Remember to enjoy what your cooking & it dosen’t hurt to have a glass or two of wine while doing it!
