Come celebrate the first birthday of The Common tonight! There will be a private party between 7pm - 9pm for our loyal partiers of The Common throughout the year and then after 9pm everyone can join in to PARTY it down all night long! All the resident DJ’s will be spinning tonight: Allout DJ’s, DJ $hortee, Dane Gretzky, Bob Trampoline, DJ Sonny Grimezz, & Bron. There will be complimentary food and give aways from Foosh & Bamboo Ballroom throughout the night. No cover all night long BUT very LIMITED CAPACITY! as you should know by now I will of course be taking photos all night long soo hopefully I see EVERYONE out tonight!

Yesterday was the first of MANY Block Parties to be had that Foosh, Plush, Bamboo Ballroom, Haven, and other shops will be hosting. Even with a gloomy day as it was yesterday there was good vibes all around with good people who enjoyed the entire day with food, music, and a good old game of S-K-A-T-E that DC Shoes sponsored to give out $500 to the Winner. Not only it was a party BUT it was a great way for people to cash in the sales that each shop brought to the block party. Thank you to all the shops that participated and to EVERYONE who came out! Guarantee that next years Block Party will be BIGGER & BETTER!

Going to Parksville with the miss & her family was the best way to cap off the summer this year. The bay where we were staying in was very beautiful during the day and at night. There were TONS to do as well: walk around the beach during high or low tide, finding various sea creatures, trying to catch geoduck tricky basterds, making a raft with drift wood, picking fresh blackberries, catching crab to eat every night, going on walk trails to go get ice cream, picking oysters off the shore line, relaxing in the sun, having illegal camp fires, having fun on the boat, & most importantly swimming in thus far the warmest body of water in the ocean in Canada. I honestly recommend anyone to go to Parksville on Vancouver Island ANYTIME of the year.

SOO the past few weeks I’ve been lacking on posting due to the fact I got ADDICTED to bouldering & biking… yess full fledge addiction! It’s either I’m at the climbing gym trying to improve and finishing routes OR I’m biking at night cruising around my neighbourhood and surrounding areas. Though I have to thank the miss for getting me a bike for my birthday, which BTW is the best gift I’ve gotten thus far, and for my cousin Chris for dragging my lazy ass to the climbing gym. If it was not for them I would be sitting on a couch watching t.v or staring down at my computer editing till my eyes hurt BUT I will try to post more… hopefully! haha

One of the albums I’m waiting to drop this Fall is Kid Cudi Man On The Moon II: The Legend Of Mr. Rager. Cudi’s first album kept me through the winter last year & I’m still bumping it to this day. These two tracks “REVOFEV” & “Erase Me” coming off his new album are already stuck in my head… I can’t wait to hear the rest!

This past Friday was the first performance that Kid Sister has done in the city & it was one to remember. GOOD times with GOOD people with GOOD music… what more can you ask for? Beside some hick ups from the not named FIRE MARSHALS everyone had fun partying it down all night long. Of course the miss & myself had a blast dancing it up on the dance floor that was FLOODED with ladies… to you guys that missed out, why? haha. Even Mariel dolled up her nails for the night just because of “Pro Nails”. Here is are some shots I took with a Canon G10 that I borrowed from Justin. Enjoy!
